What we collect and why
| Information | Why we use it | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, organisation, email address, phone number and the details of your request, when you email us, call us or use the quote form | To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals and deliver any services you order | Our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract |
| Technical information our hosting provider records when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested | To run the website securely, protect it from attack and fix problems | Our legitimate interest in operating a secure website |
When you use the quote form, your details are sent to us through Web3Forms, a form-handling service, which delivers them to our email inbox.
We do not sell your personal information, use it for automated decision-making, or use it for marketing without your consent.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, and they process information on our behalf under contract:
- GoDaddy, which hosts this website and adds a performance-monitoring script to its pages.
- Microsoft, which provides our email.
- Web3Forms, which receives quote form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
- Google, which supplies the fonts used on this website. Your browser connects to Google to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
- Cloudflare, which may protect and deliver this website.
We may also share information where the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers.
International transfers
Some of these providers process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry. If you become a customer, we keep records for the length of the contract and up to six years afterwards, to meet legal and accounting obligations. Our hosting provider's technical logs are kept for a short period and then deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, or to restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests;
- ask us to transfer information you have given us to another organisation.
To use any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
